Chapter 67

Luffy recovers from his fight after the departure of Krieg Pirates. He realizes that his debt to Zeff has been fulfilled and is now free to leave. He wants Sanji to come with but the stubborn cook does not want to leave the restaurant, despite his dream of finding the All Blue.

When lunchtime arrives, they reach the kitchen where all the chefs are already eating. Sanji is bullied by the others, mocking his cooking talent by treating his soup as the worst they have ever eaten. Sanji replies angrily that his soup is as good as Zeff's. Zeff punches him for the effrontery. Sanji leaves the room, full of anger.

While he is outside, the chefs reveal their true feelings about wanting Sanji to realize his dream and leave the ship with Luffy.

Mission 52

As the assassins surround Olka and the group, Yor sees no escape. Above, the sniper aims for Yor, but he is ambushed and killed by Matthew, who shoots down three assassins and the lock of a hatch cover. Yor tells Olka, Gram, and Zeb to hide inside the hatch, but she gets held back by a rope user when she tries to guide them there.

While Olka and Gram go inside the hatch, an assassin reveals himself and points his gun at them. Zeb sees this and grabs Olka, shielding her from the bullets fired. As they tumble inside the hatch, Zeb shuts the cover. There, he complains about how badly he is hurting even while wearing a bulletproof vest, and Olka tells him not to be so reckless.

Yor kicks a crate over the hatch, securing it. When an assassin tries blowing up the hatch, Yor kicks him off the ship and then turns to the others with a wicked glare. Assassins begin to attack Yor, but she takes them down with little effort. Meanwhile, Matthew shoots down the others that are in open view.

Matthew comes down to assist Yor, telling her to try keeping things as bloodless as possible. Yor apologizes and says she did not have much choice, and Matthew agrees. While he acknowledges the talents of the assassins, he says they are hardly in the Garden's league and tells Yor not to leave any of them alive.

While Loid and Anya watch the fireworks, Yor faces off against many assassins with varying gimmicks, from claws, gases, wire, and chakram. Yor swiftly and mercilessly tears through each of them while McMahon follows close behind, cleaning up after her and disposing of the bodies.

As the fireworks show reaches its finale, Yor is shocked by a man with an electric baton and punched by a man with big fists. The baton user goes for another strike, but Yor catches his weapon and throws it in his mouth. As the fireworks come to an explosive finish, Yor kills the other man through an endless barrage of spear-hand strikes. Afterward, she complains about jamming a finger, leaving the remaining assassins dumbfounded while McMahon cleans up the mess.

Bellona

Rome has forgotten her.

Bellona, the Goddess of War, took no time to build temples or gather worshippers. She favors only those for whom war is life; for that is where she thrives - not on the steps of hallowed basilicas or in whispered prayers, but in the blood-soaked mud, among the breathless armored troops, in the roar of victory.

When Rome was young, Bellona ran with her armies, conquered her enemies, made her strong. As Rome aged and began to crumble, she fought only with her strongest and most cunning of worshippers, Lucius Cornelius Sulla.

Sulla rose through the ranks by accomplishing impossible deeds of heroism and ruthless prowess. His enemies feared him, his soldiers loved him, and everywhere he went, Bellona rode with him. Together they quelled the Germanic hordes, they broke the Social War, they sacked Athens. Sulla was utterly undefeatable, and it was the Goddess of War that made him so.

But the Roman Senate moved to displace Sulla and end his rise to glory.

"March on Rome," Bellona quietly urged, "and you shall rise as no other."

Emboldened, Sulla commanded his legions and took the city streets, Bellona at the fore, slaughtering the gladiator-slaves that stood against them. The Senate buckled. They cast the vote. Sulla became the first life-long dictator of Rome.

During Sulla's reign, Bellona was worshipped for the Goddess she was. But Sulla had grown old. His wars were over. Bellona moved on, and Rome forgot.

But the forgotten are not gone. Gods clash in titanic conflict. It is in war she thrives. No one will forget Bellona the Goddess of War this time.

Dominion Ghost

November "Nova" Terra spent the best parts of her youth as the golden child of one of Tarsonis's wealthy Old Families who ran the Terran Confederacy. Though she exhibited signs of burgeoning psionic potential, Nova's parents insisted that she was merely sensitive or "empathetic", hoping to keep her abilities a secret from both the Ghost Academy that would conscript their child and from Nova herself.

When her family was violently betrayed by separatist groups and her telekinetic powers became destructively apparent, Nova was forced into hiding in the crime-ridden slums of Tarsonis' Gutter, and was forcibly enslaved by the crimelord Fagin. However, the means he used to prevent Nova from using her psionics on him gradually wore on his sanity, and she was eventually rescued by a insurrection in Fagin's own ranks alongside Ghost Academy wrangler Malcolm Kelerchian. She was taken off world just as Tarsonis fell to the zerg, and the Confederacy fell to give way to the Terran Dominion.

Supremely dedicated, Nova excelled as a trainee in the Ghost Academy on Ursa, eventually earning the questionable reward of a mind-wipe that erased all recollection of her tragic youth – and the majority of her long-term memory with it.

As a full-fledged Ghost operative, Nova's duties have included battling zerg, ending the insurrection of renegade enhanced ghosts named Spectres, and even dealing with noted enemy of the people Jim Raynor. Her service record has seen her assigned tasks of increasing importance to the leadership of the Dominion, and she stood ready to be dispatched on missions that will make her past pale in comparison at the whim and direct order of Emperor Arcturus Mengsk. At the crux of the Second Great War, Nova was sent to capture a now deinfested Sarah Kerrigan and Jim Raynor. While Kerrigan escaped, Raynor was imprisoned.

At the end of the war, with Arcturus Mengsk dead, Nova began to serve under the new emperor, his son Valerian Mengsk. While Valerian had a much fairer government, he still required Nova's skills to keep the peace from foreign and domestic threats. Soon a contingent of supporters of Arcturus Mengsk, displeased with Valerian's more peaceful rule and outraged of his connection to Arcturus's death, created a paramilitary group named the Defenders of Man, and staged zerg and Tal'darim attacks on terran worlds to erode the people's faith in Valerian. Nova helped uncover the plot, with the assistance of Alarak, and soon cornered the leader of the Defenders of Man, General Carolina Davis. However, Nova defied orders to bring her in alive and killed Davis, declaring that her and her special forces group would operate independent of the Terran Dominion's command structure. From now on her and her forces would defend the Dominion their own way.

Rock Bottom

As the episode begins, SpongeBob and Patrick board a bus in order to get home from Glove World!, a glove-themed amusement park that they enjoy. They accidentally board the wrong bus, which then takes them down a cliff. The cliff leads to a sort of aphotic zone called Rock Bottom, inhabited by multiple unusual and strange deep-sea animals. SpongeBob tells Patrick to wait while he goes to try and find a bus schedule. While SpongeBob is gone searching, Patrick gets on the bus to go home but accidentally leaves SpongeBob behind. SpongeBob tries to find a bus that will take him home but nothing happens.

After several unsuccessful attempts to get on a bus, SpongeBob heads to the bus station and waits in a very long line. By the time he gets to the front, he finds out that the last bus to Bikini Bottom will leave in a few seconds, but before he has time to react, it pulls away from the station.

The Ticketmaster tells SpongeBob that that was the last bus until morning and leaves for the night, shutting off the lights in the process. SpongeBob, who is starting to show fear, takes out his glove flashlight, but the battery shorts out, leaving him in "advanced darkness." As he stands alone in the station giving himself a pep-talk, he hears the familiar raspberry sound echoing and makes a mad dash back to the cliff. The raspberry sound is getting closer, and SpongeBob cowers in fear, yelling out a weak threat. As the creature closes in, a bright light engulfs SpongeBob, and he lets out a scream. He is relieved when he noticed the light is coming from a friendly-looking anglerfish creature who found SpongeBob's lost glove balloon. SpongeBob sarcastically thanks him for solving the balloon problem but begins rambling about his other problem: trying to get home. The anglerfish blows up the balloon and ties it to SpongeBob's wrist. SpongeBob makes another sarcastic comment about how the balloon already has enough air while closing his eyes and blowing raspberries. He opens his eyes to see he is floating in the air and understands the anglerfish was helping him using the unorthodox method of balloon travel. He thanks the anglerfish for his help, who replies with a polite "you're welcome" and waves goodbye.

SpongeBob is able to take the currents back to Bikini Bottom and directly to the front of his house. After he lands the balloon pops and the episode ends with Patrick, riding on a bus back to Rock Bottom thinking SpongeBob is still stuck there.

Oda Eiichiro

Lately there are a lot of maxi-singles at CD stores. I buy them thinking they're albums but it's only two or three songs. Kinda disappointing.

最近CD屋にマキシシングルが多い。アルバムだと思って買うと2・3曲。少し悲しい。
