Chapter 131

Zoro spots someone standing at the sea surface. After an awkward moment, a submarine ship surfaces. The Straw Hat are attacked by the Bliking Pirates and their captain, Wapol. He first asks the Straw Hat if they have an Eternal Pose leading to Drum Island. The Bliking pirates then decide to steal the Straw Hat treasures instead. Wapol, in front of the bemused Straw Hats, begins to eat the deck of the Going Merry. Angered that someone dares to damage his ship, Luffy attacks Wapol directly but his Baku Baku no Mi allows Wapol to eat everything and swallows Luffy's head. However, rubber seems difficult to masticate, leaving Luffy time to attack Wapol with a Gomu Gomu no Bazooka sending the hungry pirate flying.

Meanwhile, Vivi, heads upstairs to interrogate the noise and leaves Nami's bedside. She barely has time to notice Wapol, but he seems familiar to her.


Tin Plate Wapol

Zoro asks the crew if it is possible for someone to stand on top of water. The crew is confused as it is physically impossible for someone to stand on water. Zoro then asks how they would explain why there is a man standing on water, which prompt the crew to look at what Zoro is pointing at. They all spot the strange man standing on water.

The man then makes a comment about the cold weather. The crew agree it is cold. Suddenly, the water at the man's feet erupts and a ship appears. Sanji, who has been taking care of Nami, rushes outside to see what has happened. He stops to light a cigarette and asks what happened. Luffy responds that they were ambushed. Sanji comments that that is obvious as they are surrounded by pirates with rifles.

The Captain of said pirates then wonders where there other crew members are, as they should have more than 4 members. He then asks them if they know how to get to Drum kingdom to which Sanji replies that they do not. The mysterious captain then starts eating the going merry much to the shock of the crew, and this angers Luffy who starts a fight and attacks the captain who eats him just as Vivi comes out to see what's going on. Luffy then finishes his attack and blows the captain away, who Vivi feels she has met before.


As Seen on TV

Mr. Krabs walks to the Krusty Krab with his pet worm Mr. Doodles one morning to see the completion of the first ever Krusty Krab TV commercial, which is being directed by Squidward. However, upon seeing the expensive production values, he fires all of the cast and crew except the clown and decides to direct it himself, using himself, Squidward, Pearl, and SpongeBob as the cast.

SpongeBob is extremely excited to see himself on TV and watches the commercial when it airs in the extremely cheap time slot of 3:28 AM. Despite the horrible production values and quality of the commercial, and SpongeBob's very brief background role in it, he proclaims it to be the best 60 seconds of his life.

The next morning, while SpongeBob is walking to work, Old Man Walker sees him and tells him that he saw him on TV the previous night, albeit not in the same commercial. SpongeBob does not know this, making him think that he is famous. At work, he treats people as if they were his fans and fails to perform his job properly.

Eventually, he quits his job to become an entertainer (but he tells Mr. Krabs vaguely) and is confronted by the crowd of hungry customers, who he thinks want him to entertain them. He begins to juggle patties and accidentally slips on grease, sending the patties flying as the customers boo him. Just as he thinks that his "career" is over, the patties drop on the grill, which pleases the customers.

SpongeBob notices this and continues to make Krabby Patties like normal, still believing he is entertaining his customers and is very famous. Mr. Krabs gives SpongeBob his hat back, even though he still thinks he is a celebrity while the episode ends.

Chapter 21

After defeating the Buggy Pirates, Luffy, Zoro and Nami are about to depart with Buggy's treasure, but the villagers arrive and ask about the pirates. Seeing that their mayor has been knocked out, they ask who did it, and Luffy admits it was him. While they are being chased out of the village, Chouchou helps them escape by holding back the villagers. The mayor soon wakes up, and after asking about Luffy and the others, runs after them to thank them as they sail away. The War of the Shifting Sands Townies Luffy, having beaten Buggy, begins to leave the city with Zoro and Nami. Nami splits the loot into two bags: one for Luffy and one for herself. When the villagers arrive, they find Boodle unconscious, and Luffy admits that he knocked him out. The villages then ask if they are pirates, and Luffy cheerfully says he is, angering them and causing them to give chase. While the crew is running away, Luffy says that it must be a very good town, because they were prepared to fight pirates

Chapter 24

The Usopp Pirates (without Usopp) approach the restaurant Tamanegi saw Usopp enter with the pirates, and confront Luffy, Zoro, and Nami over the fate of their captain. Learning that Usopp had gone to "that place", the Usopp Pirates tell Luffy and the others about Usopp's trips to Kaya's mansion to tell her stories, in an attempt to help brighten her spirits. However her butler, Klahadore, disapproves of Usopp's interactions with Kaya, believing Usopp to be a bad influence for having the blood of a pirate. Luffy's group and the Usopp Pirates arrive just in time to see Klahadore insult Usopp down, before he strikes Klahadore and declares his pride at being the son of a pirate. Lord of His Pack Things that can't be faked Piiman, Ninjin, and Tamanegi sneak across town to the restaurant where Zoro, Nami and Luffy are eating.
