Chapter 110

Two more Baroque Works agents make their appearance in Whisky Peak: Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine. They have come to kill Arabasta traitors who have discovered their boss's identity, Mr. 8 and Miss Wednesday.

The Night Isn't Over

Luffy wakes up for a second but soon returns to sleep. The Baroque Works members, Mr. 8 and Miss Wednesday, attempt to run from the Straw Hats. However, to their horror they are spotted by Mr. 13 and Miss Friday. They suddenly hear someone order them to stop. They turn and spot two more Baroque Works members holding their guns at them. They ask for them to identify themselves and they answer with their code names.

Meanwhile, Zoro sits, drinking. Mr. 8 stands up, severely injured, and spots Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine behind him. The two officer agents reveal that Miss Wednesday is Nefertari Vivi, princess of Arabasta, and Mr. 8 is Igaram, her servant. Zoro watches from above, unnoticed. Mr. 9 is surprised and bows to Vivi while Vivi yells at him for acting so stupid. Zoro grabs Luffy and sprints away.

Mr. 5 announces they are here to kill the two traitors, but Mr. 9 stands before Vivi, saying that he cannot let his partner die. He is hit with an explosive by Mr. 5. As Zoro comments on Mr. 5's exploding booger. Igaram begs Zoro to save Vivi. While she escapes on Karoo, Nami appears. She proposes they will save Vivi if they pay 1,000,000,000 Beli.

Mission 91

While dropping off Anya at her school bus stop, Yor and Anya run into the Authens. After greeting the pair and chatting with Anya, Sigmund comments that Yor is going to work early, and Yor responds that she will be helping hold an event at the city square, which Barbara recognizes as the charity bazaar for disabled veterans. Yor invites the Authens to the event, and while Sigmund expresses support, he begins muttering about bringing a lunch, which Anya tells Yor.

At the charity bazaar, the city hall workers are hard at work carrying boxes to help with the event. While Millie complains about having to carry so many heavy things, Camilla and Dominic flirt, and Yor is her cheery self as she carries many loads. Matthew McMahon tells the workers to keep their griping to a minimum as they are being watched by not only the Wounded Veteran Alliance but also the Lady Patriots Society, and the mention of them causes grumbles among the office clerk girls. Yor recognizes the group as Melinda Desmond's club and explains to her co-workers that she knows Melinda, though they do not believe her. Yor wonders if Melinda will make an appearance at the event, but Dominic tells her that it is unheard of due to Melinda having many enemies.

As the city hall workers head back to work, Millie looks around at the disabled veterans and says that she cannot do this and decides to return to the office. Yor is confused as Millie gets consoled, but before Sharon can explain Millie's situation, they are interrupted by women from the Lady Patriots Society, who tell them to get back to work. Wanting to avoid conflict with the ladies, Camilla and Sharon act more accommodating and respectful to the ladies while enduring their insults of being ignorant to the soldiers. However, Millie talks back to the women and tells them that even though those soldiers survived and returned home, her dad was not one of them.

The women ignore Millie's feelings and verbally attack her, saying that everyone here is suffering, calling Millie's feelings selfish, and looking down on her. Millie is overwhelmed and walks away, and Yor stands between her and the leading woman who tries to get closer to her. Yor asks the women why they said those things about Millie, and they tell her that they are the same after what they went through. Yor shares that she also lost her parents during the war and is now working as hard as she can, which she demonstrates by carrying ten stacked boxes. The astounded women are shocked when Yor then asks them to do the same, saying they are not like her, to which she asks why they insist that Millie is the same as them.

Sharon argues that by the women's logic, everyone is the same emotionally, so there is no difference between those suffering and those who are not. The leading woman yells that their generation did not have to suffer through the war like the younger generation, but Yor, who thinks about her and Yuri, says that the younger generation has also suffered in their own ways as well, which touches Millie. The city hall workers then decide to wrap up their discussion and head back to work. The humiliated leading woman raises her hand toward Yor but is stopped by a disguised Melinda.

Melinda has a cheerful reunion with Yor, to everyone's surprise as they realize Yor was telling the truth about knowing Melinda. Millie feels betrayed by this friendship and shouts that Donovan Desmond was the one who started the war and cannot believe that Yor could be friends with the wife of a "monster." Matthew corrects that Donovan was elected to be Prime Minister after the war had already started and he instructs Millie to learn her history to avoid applying unwarranted blame due to her own ignorance, embarrassing the young woman.

While the women of the Lady Patriots Society demand an apology from Millie, Melinda believes that she should be apologizing as a member of the Desmond family. Melinda tells Millie that she empathizes with how she feels due to having a family of her own, saying that she would also resent someone if she lost any of them. Melinda is called to meet with the Wounded Veterans Association, but before she goes, she takes the materials from Millie and thanks her for her help. Before leaving, Melinda tells her fellow members that policing each other's behavior is not supporting each other, as it would be a return to wartime repression. Millie apologizes to Melinda for what she said, which makes Melinda happy as she says she would have felt bad if Millie hated Yor because of her.

After Melinda leaves, Millie decides to help out at the event a little longer. Saying that she would rather be with her co-workers than by herself, Camilla comments that Millie hates being alone. Millie shares that she was very young when her dad died and does not remember him very well, and his absence made her feel lonely. Millie says that she blames her loneliness for things not going great for her, which causes her anger, but is happy that she has this job with everyone, and thanks Yor.

Camilla moves on to talk about how Yor is actually friends with Melinda and assumes she gets treated to fancy dinners, which Yor corrects that she does not. Millie then comments that Yor does not even try to act posh around Melinda. To their surprise, Yor does not know what "posh" means, and Sharon tells her that they will teach her if she buys drinks for them tonight, which Yor agrees to. Observing the girls, Dominic wonders aloud when did they get so friendly. Later that night, Yor returns home and greets the Forgers with a fancy greeting, which takes Loid aback.

Krusty Love

The episode begins on one day at the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs' keen sense of smell informs him that his cash register has a deficit of one penny. As he cries over his loss, SpongeBob reassures him that losing one penny is not that big of a deal. Mr. Krabs, however, sees that money as a very big deal, considering all that it can buy, and proclaims that nothing in the world matters more. Nothing, that is, except for the beautiful visage of Mrs. Puff he suddenly spies.

SpongeBob tells him who she is and offers to introduce the two of them. Despite Mr. Krabs' pleas that he is too old for love, SpongeBob brings him over to Mrs. Puff's table. However, Mr. Krabs becomes extremely nervous and his attempts to communicate with her result in him talking in unintelligible speech as well as making strange body movements. SpongeBob steps in and after a series of mistakes, he tells Mrs. Puff that Mr. Krabs is trying to ask her out on a date. Surprisingly, she finds Mr. Krabs to have quite a way with words and accepts his offer, much to his joy.

That night, Mr. Krabs takes Mrs. Puff to a fancy restaurant and showers her with lavish services: foot rubs in between courses, caricatures, live music from a scuba diver, and transportation in a limousine. Mr. Krabs then receives a bill and is outraged that he is being charged $100 as a fake account. The waiter apologizes for a mistake and hands him the real bill. Upon seeing his actual bill, a horrified Mr. Krabs screams so loudly it causes the cork pops to let out the water and the glass bottle that the restaurant is contained within to explode, which ends up costing him $100,000.

Back at home, Mr. Krabs sobs hysterically as SpongeBob questions him on how he could spend such a ridiculous amount of money in one night. Mr. Krabs says that in his infatuated state, he couldn't help himself. He starts to worry about how much money he'll lose on his date the following day, then gets an idea: he gives SpongeBob his wallet and tells him to come along on the date to prevent him from spending any more money.

The next day arrives, and Mr. Krabs decides the most cost-effective activity would be to take Mrs. Puff to the park. But after arriving at Mrs. Puff's house, Mr. Krabs commands SpongeBob to buy Mrs. Puff some flowers and a box of chocolates, as well as a large amount of increasingly expensive and unnecessary things. But each time SpongeBob returns with the requested purchase, Mr. Krabs gets mad and scolds him for breaking their agreement, despite SpongeBob trying to tell him he was making him spend the money in the first place. Eventually, a tired and fed up SpongeBob calls him out on his hypocrisy, to which Mr. Krabs laments that he does not want to lose Mrs. Puff, who is still waiting to go to the park as she sits upon the mountain of gifts and sobs again.

Feeling bad, SpongeBob leaves and comes back with a washing machine that Mr. Krabs supposedly asked for. But the latter once again scolds SpongeBob for spending his money, and after he makes a snide comment and wonders whether Mrs. Puff will need a dryer as well, SpongeBob has got something to say.

Finally having enough, SpongeBob snaps, then badmouths off Mr. Krabs for his behavior, before angrily leaving the area. A shocked Mrs. Puff walks up to an even more shocked Mr. Krabs and calmly tells him that for her part, she does not feel comfortable accepting so many such expensive gifts, preferring to "go Dutch." She then hands Mr. Krabs some money, while calling him sweet and kisses him, leaving him utterly love-struck, as the episode ends.
