Chapter 136

Dalton attacks Wapol but is tricked by his good feelings. The lapahn, not able to catch Luffy and Sanji start an avalanche.

A Man Named Dalton

Wapol threatens the inhabitants of Bighorn. he demands they accept him as their king once more. When he learns from his crewmates that the Straw Hats are nearby, he swears to get revenge. His men spot his castle is intact and that Dr. Kureha is living in it. Wapol is surprised and he decides to take it back and to take his revenge.

However, his plan is halted by Dalton who has run towards his village. He delivers a critical hit Wapol. However, the former King has a highly skilled personal medical team, the Isshi-20. It is revealed that Wapol got rid of every doctor in Drum, beside the 20 best ones whom only works for him. Due to the medical notoriety of the town, when people could no longer get treatment due to the monopoly of medical services, the town was abandoned by the medical professionals.

This act of selfishness and the cowardice he has shown is unforgivable to Dalton. As he is about to attack Wapol again, Chess and Kuromarimo threaten they know him too well. They attack the citizens who had come to help Dalton. In order to protect the villagers, Dalton sacrifices himself and takes the arrows directly in his chest.

Meanwhile, the angry lapahn chase Luffy and Sanji. But, they are unable to catch them and act strangely by jumping on the ground. Soon, a giant avalanche begins to rush down the mountain, putting everyone in danger.

Rock-a-Bye Bivalve

After encountering each other and hearing a noise as they say goodbye to each other, SpongeBob and Patrick hear a noise in the middle of a coral plant, which both of them suspect is one another, but neither of them are making the noise. They then realize a baby scallop in the middle of the plant was making the noise, who is alone and helpless with no parental guardian, and has yet to develop the ability to fly. SpongeBob and Patrick take it in the former's house and name it "Junior," raising it as a baby of their own, with SpongeBob being the mother and Patrick being the father. Afterwards, a montage of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Junior going out is shown. They then return home at night and put Junior to sleep in a cradle in SpongeBob's bedroom, soon going to sleep themselves.

The next morning, Patrick eats breakfast then explains that he has to go to work since he is the father, leaving SpongeBob to do housework. He promises to give SpongeBob a break when he gets home. Eventually, he returns home only to be exhausted from work, and then tiredly decides to sit on the chair and watch TV for the rest of the night. This goes on for several days until SpongeBob realizes that Patrick was a lazy father figure who broke his promises to assist him with Junior. Seeing his patience is completely terminated and fed up with Patrick's laziness, SpongeBob furiously lashes out at Patrick, showing him all the diapers that Junior used; including on Squidward's house from the outside. Patrick, feeling remorse, then realizes the error of his ways and promises to come home at 6:00 PM and give SpongeBob the whole night off.

However, Patrick, back to his old, lazy self, returns at 12:00 AM from a party at work. SpongeBob, furious and disappointed in Patrick, confronts him on his broken promises and laziness, especially his last one, as Patrick gets annoyed with his constant nagging. SpongeBob follows Patrick, who angrily said that he was going back to work, only to find out that "work" consists of Patrick watching television under his rock all day. The duo get into an argument until they see Junior about to jump from a two-story window. They immediately try to catch him, but fail and begin crying for him, believing him to be dead and proclaiming themselves "bad parents." However, they then realize that Junior is alive and well, and has learned to fly. After Junior kisses SpongeBob and flies away, Patrick asks for a kiss from Junior, who drops a coconut on the former's head as payback for his laziness, but still gives him a kiss. After the parents say goodbye to their son, they are proud to have looked after him. Patrick has learned his lesson and reconciles with SpongeBob by teasingly suggesting they would have another baby, shocking SpongeBob (knowing that he will probably do the same thing when they were taking care of him).
