Chapter 98
While he is standing at the top of Roger's execution platform, Luffy is addressed by a mysterious beautiful lady who claims to know him. It is in fact Alvida, who has been metamorphosed after eating a Devil Fruit. She has teamed up with the Buggy Pirates who also make their appearance in order to take their revenge. Cabaji succeeds in catching Luffy and immobilizes his head in preparation to his execution.
When they hear about the ruckus that occurs in the plaza, the Marine's captain, Smoker, and his sergeant, Tashigi, take the steps necessary to arrest the pirates. Meanwhile, the other Straw Hats find each other and are shocked to see what happened to Luffy.
Dark Clouds
Sanji becomes interested in an elephant trunk tuna fish from the South Blue and he decides he wants to buy it. Usopp finds some cheap eggs to buy and Nami is in a store buying some clothes. Nami notes that the weather is changing and that it will rain soon. Meanwhile, Luffy is standing in the execution platform where the greatest pirate Gold Roger died, he is so amazed of the view. An officer tells Luffy to get down off the platform. He reasons it belongs to the World Government but is soon smashed by Alvida.
Alvida, now looking different since the last time Luffy met her, tells Luffy that he is the only man ever punching her and that she wants him for being a strong man. Though, Luffy cannot remember who she is. The Loguetown officers want to arrest Alvida for hurting a World Government officer, however an explosion takes down the officers and Alvida shows her Devil Fruit power when a projectile piece of the fountain slides off her skin. Buggy shows up and reveals to Luffy that the now beautiful lady is in fact Alvida, much to the confusion of Luffy.
Alvida confirms that she is now the Devil Fruit user of the Sube Sube no Mi and her skin cannot be scarred. Alvida reveals the alliance that she has with Buggy the Clown because they share the same goal—finishing Luffy. Buggy blames Luffy for the adventure he had to go through without his crew as little Buggy. Cabaji traps Luffy in the execution platform foreshadowing Gold Roger's last moments.
Meanwhile, in the Marine base, Captain Smoker of the marines is informed about the chaos being caused by the pirates at the execution platform. He orders the Marines to close all the roads that lead to the execution platform and to surround the port. Soon, Tashigi, sergeant of the Marines meets up with Smoker and they head to the execution platform.
In the meantime, the rest of the Straw Hats are concerned about the feeling in the air. Sanji tells the rest that he saw a lion with a guy wearing a teddy bear hat. Zoro on the other hand, is wondering where the townspeople are located and Nami is worried about the weather. They are looking for Luffy in the execution platform.
The marines receive a report of three wanted pirates in the execution platform, one being Alvida the Iron Mace, the other being Buggy the Clown, and finally Luffy. Smoker has never heard of Luffy but he thinks that it could be a tough job.
Back in the platform, Luffy is not really concerned about his own execution going as far as wanting to scratch his nose. Much in shock to the rest of the Straw Hats when they notice that Luffy is about to be executed.
Mission 79
At Berlint City Hall, Camilla and Millie find themselves working overtime. Yor offers to help them, wanting to repay Camilla for teaching her how to cook, while Millie asks Sharon to help them as well. As they work, Sharon remarks that Yor has been more chatty with them lately. Yor quickly apologizes for being a bother, but Sharon tells her it is fine. Yor thinks about how she always used to avoid getting close to others to hide her assassin job and finds it strange that she now has more things to hide while mingling with them, considering her fake marriage. Sharon asks Yor how Anya has been doing since the hijacking, and Yor assures her that she is alright now.
A few hours later, the girls get all their work done. Sharon says they should get dinner and invites Yor, surprising Camilla and Millie. Yor decides to come with them, believing that spending time with them will help with her cover. At the restaurant, the girls are surprised to see Yor drunk for the first time (which was at Millie's insistence). Camilla asks how things are going with Loid at home, demanding to know any gripes about their relationship. As Yor thinks, she can only remember Loid helping out with house chores and errands and says she cannot think of anything, to Camilla and Millie's disbelief, as they hoped to hear from Yor that her marriage sucks and that she wants to dump Loid.
After Camilla and Millie fail to convince Yor to dump Loid, Yor asks if having gripes about your partner is normal. All the girls agree, listing the peeves they have with theirs and how it makes them want to kill them. In her drunken state, Yor believes that relationships are capable of turning anyone into an assassin and almost considers revealing her assassin identity to her co-workers.
Yor tries to fit in by lying about stuff she hates about Loid, but her co-workers easily see through the ruse. Yor begins to worry that she could get turned in for suspicion if she cannot convince them, so she downs a glass of booze and picks up a butter knife before leaving, telling her co-workers that she will be back. Yor approaches the Shopkeeper, asking for permission to kill Loid for "the sake of preserving her marriage." Shopkeeper agrees, and Yor soon finds herself facing off against Loid, resulting in a bloody mess and a sobbing Anya.
It is then revealed that it was all Yor's fantasy, and she was just about to leave the restaurant's doorway. A devastated Yor runs back to her table, stating that she "can't do it" and that killing is wrong. To her surprise, her co-workers find it entertaining, believing she was just playing along as a joke. The girls accept that Yor has a "lovey-dovey" marriage and tease her about kissing Loid. Sharon then tells Yor that a welcome home kiss is normal, and the others agree, but Yor is shocked by this revelation.
After their dinner, Yor and her co-workers part ways, and the three wonder if Yor will actually kiss Loid when she gets home. They then discuss how they enjoyed hanging out with her and agree to invite her out again. Yor returns home and Loid welcomes her back. Yor gets overwhelmed by the thought of giving Loid a welcome home kiss and faints, but he catches her. Yor believes that they will kiss in this situation and fights herself back from hurting him, so she backflips off Loid's arm and crashes to the floor. While Loid tries to figure out what happened and Yor frantically apologizes, Anya mutters in her sleep that they get noisy when they kiss.
Athena
In war, there are two kinds of soldiers: those that fight for blood, and those that fight for honor. The first crave the clash of steel and smell of slaughter, the latter know the wisdom of justice, the kindness of mercy, and that life should never be taken wantonly. These different warriors seek different Gods. Ares, God of War revels in the bloodletting, but his sister, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, is patron to those who fight with dignity, and only when there is no other alternative.
Favored daughter of Zeus, wise as ten thousand scholars, just as the scales themselves; Athena is a paragon of incorruptible virtue, and worshipped with righteous fervor. So revered is she that Athens, greatest city in all the world, is named for her, and regal temples adorn the countryside in her honor, each tended by loyal priestesses. To Athena, a life is a precious thing that need not be wasted in frivolous battle. Bloodthirsty Ares, on the other hand, is reviled by their father and chained by his ravenous subjects.
At the Siege of Troy, Ares disobeyed Zeus and joined with the battle, fighting for the mortal Trojans. Athena rose to stop him, indirectly championing the Greeks, but directly keeping the order of divine law. Their fierce battle clashed in unspeakable proportions, ending only when Ares limped from the battle field, cowed by his sister and rival. With Ares diminished, the tide of the war shifted and the heroes of the Greek Army toppled Troy.
In times of war, prayers are sent to both Gods. Ares, for bloodstained victory, Athena for honor, valor, and the wisdom to fight with dignity. Make no mistake, these are times of war, and Ares has already answered the call to arms. Athena, ever cautious with lives, goes to battle without eagerness, but solemn necessity, for the Goddess of Wisdom knows honor is for the living. The dead have no need of it.
Squirrel Jokes
As the episode starts, the Krusty Krab has begun a nightly event called the "Komedy Krab," featuring some of Bikini Bottom's best comedians. SpongeBob's chance to take the stage arrives, but his planned job-centered routine, featuring weak jokes about mundane topics such as salt, tomatoes, and forks, does not go over well. As the hecklers (even Patrick) jeer, SpongeBob tries to make a witty observation, anything to get a laugh. He notices Sandy's buck teeth and starts joking about them, which earns chuckles from the audience. SpongeBob begins telling more "squirrel jokes" about how smelly and stupid squirrels supposedly are. The entire crowd roars with laughter, all except Sandy. After his act, Sandy confronts SpongeBob backstage and tells him that his jokes are hurtful, but he insists that it is just an act and assures her that "Everyone knows you're the smartest creature in Bikini Bottom."
The next day, it turns out that everyone has taken the jokes to heart and either avoids or ridicules Sandy. She talks with SpongeBob again on the next night of the Komedy Krab, explaining how the jokes are affecting her public image, and she asks him to use some of his other jokes instead. Fearing his original jokes will not cut the mustard, SpongeBob gives it a shot anyway, but to no avail; the crowd wants squirrel jokes. SpongeBob quietly leaves the stage, seemingly for good. In the next moment, he bursts back on stage with an epiphany, fake buck teeth and a stereotypical Southern accent, resuming the squirrel jokes with aplomb.
After the performance, SpongeBob finds a note from Sandy, stating that she has finally realized how funny his jokes are and to come to her treedome to celebrate. When he visits her, however, Sandy looks and acts exactly as his jokes make her out to be; an idiotic, clueless yokel.
Sandy has SpongeBob literally glued to his seat so he will not fall off and removes his water helmet to serve as a vase for the flowers. When SpongeBob starts to dehydrate, he begs for water, so Sandy pops a hose in his mouth to fill him up. Only after SpongeBob has expanded to fill every inch of the treedome does he promise to quit telling squirrel jokes.
At the following Komedy Krab event, SpongeBob tells a single, toned-down squirrel joke. He then springboards into making fun of everyone else, including sponges, fish, and crabs. The crowd jovially laughs at themselves. SpongeBob and Sandy give each other thumbs up, affirming their restored friendship, as SpongeBob jokes the night away as he prepares to joke about starfish, ending the episode.
Prologue
Zeus, King of Olympus is dead. His surviving brother, Hades, assumed the throne and set the Olympian army upon the Kingdom of the Sun, where Anubis, the suspected murderer, was shielded by the Sun God, Ra. Unmatched in battle, Ares commanded the Olympian assault, crushed the desert city, and defeated Ra. In his rage, the God of War blinded the Egyptian King, thus blackening the sun. Anubis, however, was nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, Athena, guided by Neith, pursued Zeus' true murderer, Loki. Across the Roman countryside the Trickster God traveled, wielding Zeus' mighty thunderbolt with reckless glee. Athena finally caught Loki at the Gates of Asgard where it was revealed that Hel, Loki's daughter, was the mastermind behind the assassination. Zeus' thunderbolt, like Sun Wukong's Staff, was a weapon capable of breaking the chains that bound Fenrir.
Thor, Sun Wukong, and Athena battled and ultimately defeated Loki, but not before Hel wrestled the thunderbolt for her father and escaped, setting her monstrous brother free. Fenrir's howl became the wind and Gods from every Pantheon heard that horrible peal.
So began the war that would end all wars. A battle between Gods foretold to break the world. For most, this conflict would mean death, for those that survived, the global worship of mortals and power beyond imagining.

As of late, they say that even compared to the rest of the world, the Japanese people are getting more dumb. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
