Chapter 83

Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji confront Arlong, Hatchan, Chew, and Kuroobi. Usopp accidentally attacks Chew and is chased out of Arlong Park, while Luffy ends up getting his feet stuck in the concrete. Arlong picks up the concrete Luffy is trapped in and throws him into the pool, leaving him stuck underwater.

Luffy in Black

The citizens of Cocoyasi Village express their shock at Luffy knocking out Momoo with his windmill attack, and the Straw Hats prepare to take on the Arlong Pirates. Chew, Hatchan, and Kuroobi tell Arlong that he can sit back while they deal with the Straw Hats as if he were to fight, Arlong Park could end up being destroyed, and Hatchan shoots out a massive ink spray from his mouth. Luffy is caught by the ink spray and is blinded; he also accidentally planted his feet in the concrete and cannot move. Hatchan picks up a massive piece of the tower that Luffy damaged and slams it onto him, but Sanji steps in and destroys the piece with his leg. Sanji addresses the fish-men, who try telling him about their superiority to humans, while Usopp unsuccessfully tries pulling Luffy out of the ground.

Hatchan ignores Sanji to throw another chunk of the tower at Luffy, but he is confronted by Zoro. Hatchan throws the large chunk at Zoro and expresses his anger at what the human pirate did to his comrades earlier, but Zoro pays it little mind and simply states that the Arlong Pirates will be beaten. Usopp is relieved that Zoro took on Hatchan, but accidentally lets go of Luffy, causing him to snap back to where his feet are planted and hit Chew with the recoil. An enraged Chew chases after Usopp, who runs all the way out of Arlong Park. Chew stops in front of the citizens, and notes that their weapons indicate a rebellion against the Arlong Pirates, but Usopp then snipes him with Kaen Boshi. Usopp tells Chew that he is his enemy, but starts running once Chew chases him again, confusing the citizens.

Meanwhile, Arlong gets up despite Kuroobi's protests, but says that he only wants to say something. Luffy throws a punch at him, but Arlong catches it. He asks Luffy if he really thinks he can beat them, and Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji affirm this. Arlong then decides to not say anything as he instead picks up a chunk of the concrete Luffy is stuck in, planning to throw it into the water and drown the pirate. Luffy tries attacking him, but Arlong catches the punch with his mouth and injures Luffy's arm with his teeth. Luffy retaliates by biting Arlong's arm, but this does nothing as Arlong throws him into the pool. Luffy becomes immobilized as he sinks due to the concrete and his Devil Fruit abilities, and Sanji tries to go in and save him, but Zoro says that the Arlong Pirates were baiting them into a trap and they would need to take out the fish-men to save Luffy.

Mission 65

Before Yor heads out shopping, she asks Anya if there is anything she wants. Anya asks for some tea cakes Henry Henderson gave her, but she cannot remember the name, so Yor promises to find them, along with an "amazing cake" that Anya says that Damian promised her. On her way out, Yor thinks about how nice it is that Anya and Damian are getting along and how bad she felt after Anya had punched him.

Exiting the building, Yor runs into the neighborhood ladies. Thinking that the women should know the best bakeries in the city, she attempts to ask them but runs away instead, fearing that a normal mother should already know and she would be reported to the SSS. Walking through the city, Yor gets discouraged at being unable to act normal, but motivates herself to keep working for the sake of her job. She decides to go to a department store, believing they would have the best cakes.

As Yor nervously walks around the store, an employee tries selling her some eyeliner for some "piercing eyes," but she gets intimidated and asks where the bakery is. After receiving directions, Yor heads down to the next floor, where she sees a woman holding lots of boxes falling down the stairs. Yor swiftly catches the woman and the boxes, and, amazed by Yor’s movements and skills, the woman asks Yor to join her for something, offering her the cakes in the boxes as a token of her gratitude. Yor feels grateful for the offer but declines, but after the woman and her butler insist, Yor is taken to a sports hall and dressed up in a gym uniform, where it is revealed that the woman, named Melinda, brought Yor as a ringer for her women’s volleyball team.

The ladies are part of an organization called the Lady Patriots Society, where they partake in all sorts of community activities, including this all-mothers volleyball game. Yor is asked to help the team win and agrees after hearing that playing volleyball is normal. After revealing that she has no experience playing volleyball, Melinda gives Yor a rundown of the rules. Due to Yor’s lack of experience playing with a team, she tries playing the game by herself and ends up breaking several rules. Melinda tells Yor to relax and enjoy herself, as she just wants to have fun together. Yor plays properly with the team and have fun, but not without her forgetting to hold back a few times.

After the game, the mothers go out to have tea and cakes together and talk about how much they enjoyed the game, despite losing. Melinda hopes Yor will come over again to join them for other activities, and Yor promises that she will, saying there is so much that she wants to learn from them and will not waste this opportunity. A mother then mentions her son receiving a Tonitrus Bolt. Yor reveals that her daughter also attends Eden Academy and is in first grade. Melinda realizes who Yor is and formally introduces herself as Melinda Desmond.

Anhur

Anhur, the lion-headed Egyptian God of war, slays his enemies with spear and guile. Weapons equally as sharp!

As a son of Ra, Anhur, and his sister Bastet, rode in the golden barge their father sailed across the sky each day. They protected the ship at dawn and dusk from the world serpent, Apep, who lurked at the horizon. Courageous, formidable, and above all, intelligent, Anhur defended the vessel with his spear and wits, outsmarting and distracting the serpent until feral Bastet delivered a killing blow. With Apep gone, Ra became Pharaoh, Bastet, the Goddess of Cats and Women, and Anhur donned the mantle of the God of War. This is how he became known as the Slayer of Enemies.

As time went on, another feline Goddess, Menhet, ran away from the Pantheon, spurning Ra. Anhur vowed to bring her back from the distant lands of Nubia to appease his father, but when he finally caught up with Menhet, he was enraptured and fell in love. He tied a rope to her neck and led her home, where he requested Menhet become his wife, a boon Ra happily granted.

For Egyptians, warfare is more than bloody battle, it's a means to break the chains of tyranny. Anhur can be found at the head of any charge, crushing corruption and leading the people to freedom. While his spear is deadly, Anhur is cunning and clever, able to outmaneuver opponents in ways they least expect.

Defender of Russia

Aleksandra Zaryanova is one of the world's strongest women, a celebrated athlete who sacrificed personal glory to protect her family, friends, and country in a time of war.

Aleksandra was born in a remote Siberian village that was on the front lines of the Omnic Crisis, which began some thirty years ago. Although Russian forces defeated the robots and shut down their omnium, the region was devastated by the conflict. Only a child at the time, Aleksandra was surrounded by the post-war destruction, and as she grew older, she swore that she would gain the strength to help her people recover.

Focusing on weightlifting and bodybuilding, Aleksandra was identified by the national athletics program as a potential star. She trained extensively, moving up the ranks while representing her country, and was expected to shatter longstanding records in the upcoming world championships.

But on the eve of the tournament, an attack came from the long-dormant Siberian omnium, and her village was thrust into war once again. Aleksandra immediately withdrew from the competition and rushed home to enlist in the local defense forces, sacrificing the life of fame and fortune she might have had. Now she serves—a symbol to some, a stalwart fellow soldier to others. But for Aleksandra, it is a chance to use her great strength to protect the ones she loves.

Patty Hype

The episode begins at the Krusty Krab, having gone without a customer for 36 whole days, is filled with dust, cobwebs, and even a skeleton. An emaciated Incidental 42 crawls in, claiming that he has not had any sustenance in three days. After confirming Incidental 42 can pay, Mr. Krabs has SpongeBob bring him a meal. However, Incidental 42 refuses, saying that there is no pizzazz in the Krusty Krab, and so resumes his search for food, water, and atmosphere. Mr. Krabs remains skeptical, but then he overhears a conversation between Tom and Fred about a talking dog at the Shell Shack and realizes that what he needs is a gimmick to attract customers. SpongeBob tries to share an idea, but Mr. Krabs ignores him and decides instead to bury himself alive, which will easily draw in a crowd. When news of the talking dog singing reaches them, though, they quickly leave.

SpongeBob remains ignored by Mr. Krabs, who desperately racks his brain for an answer, until he appears from the heavens heralding to Mr. Krabs his idea. Finally having his attention, SpongeBob shows him a green patty. Mr. Krabs is disgusted, thinking that the patty is spoiled, and he tries to incinerate it. SpongeBob then removes his fire-proof suit to reveal Pretty Patties, Krabby Patties painted in "six designer colors." Mr. Krabs and Squidward laugh at this notion, mocking SpongeBob with other ridiculous novelties such as sequin milkshakes and bow-tie French fries. Deeply hurt, SpongeBob quits his job as a fry cook and vows to open his own restaurant and prove them wrong, making them laugh all the more.

With Patrick's help, SpongeBob sets up a stand in front of his house to sell his Pretty Patties, though it initially seems unsuccessful. He tries to give passerby Incidental 40 a Pretty Patty, who laughs at its green color. SpongeBob is about to give up when Incidental 40 notices a Patty in purple, his favorite color, and proclaims Pretty Patties to be the best idea ever.

News of the skyrocketing sales of Pretty Patties reaches Mr. Krabs at a rundown Krusty Krab, who incredulously decides to take a look. There are thousands of customers surrounding the stand, clamoring for their turn. Mr. Krabs notes that he has never had a line before, much less the 46,853 customers that SpongeBob is currently waiting on. But to his shock, SpongeBob admits on TV he and Patrick didn't know what to do with the money they're making, so they set up a "Free Money" stand to give the money back to the customers so they can keep purchasing the Pretty Patties. Finally making it through the crowd, Mr. Krabs meekly congratulates SpongeBob on his success. While proud of what he has achieved, SpongeBob admits he misses his days at the Krusty Krab. Seeing an opportunity, Mr. Krabs persuades SpongeBob to give him the rights to his Pretty Patty stand in exchange for the key to the Krusty Krab. Utterly entranced with his fortune, SpongeBob starts frolicking inside and outside his new restaurant.

The next day, as Mr. Krabs prepares to rake in the dough, the customers all angrily arrive, demanding refunds. They complain that the Pretty Patties had an unfortunate side effect: whatever color was eaten is what color part of the customer's body became. Incidental 42, demonstrating a glow-in-the-dark tongue while turning of the light, states that all 46,853 of them want their money back, but under the cover of darkness, the cheapskate Mr. Krabs has hightailed it.

The customers form an angry, rainbow-colored mob and begin chasing Mr. Krabs, leaving a rainbow trail behind them. He runs to the Krusty Krab and attempts to unlock the door, but remembers that he gave his key to SpongeBob, who is currently preoccupied with the sound of his beloved squeaky pickles. Mr. Krabs unsuccessfully tries to get SpongeBob's attention as the mob continues to chase him which ends the episode.
