Chapter 88
Usopp defeats Chew. Nami starts heading to Arlong Park. Sanji and Zoro are having a hard time against Arlong. The fish-man tries to convince her to be his cartographer by blackmailing her with the villagers life, but Nami refuses. Luffy wakes up and Sanji starts swimming to free his legs, while Zoro keeps Arlong occupied. Usopp arrives and shoots Arlong to distract him. Hatchan begins to get up.
Die!!!
The chapter begins right after Usopp lit Chew on fire. Chew begins to run towards the pool of water, but Usopp comes from behind and hits him with Usopp Hammer towards the water. As Chew begins to get up, Usopp strikes him again with Usopp Hammer three times, then with Usopp Wagomu, and then again with Usopp Hammer. Following this succession of attacks, Chew is K.O.ed and Usopp begins to celebrate his victory. He starts shouting that even he can do it, and that the fish-man shouldn't underestimate him.
The scene moves to Cocoyasi Village, behind Nami and Nojiko's house. Nami is sitting on a chair with her Bo-staff, bandaging her shoulder after she cut herself with a knife. Nami begins to think that she cried and complained enough and now she has to go to Arlong Park since everyone else is fighting.
The scene moves to Arlong Park, where Arlong is sitting in the middle of a scene in front of Zoro and Sanji knocked down on the ground. A citizen of Cocoyasi Village can't believe his eyes. Yosaku wonders what did Arlong do. Johnny mentions that the fish-man only threw some water, but this knocked down both Zoro and Sanji and had them cough up blood. Meanwhile, Luffy is still sitting on the sea floor, with Nojiko trying to pump water out of him, and with his head in Genzo's hands stretched just above the surface. One of Luffy's fingers starts to move. As Sanji begins to get up, Yosaku shouts to him not to stand up. Johnny is worried about Luffy's situation. Arlong mocks the two, saying that he doesn't even need to touch them and that a little water is enough to kill them. He comments that that is the difference between their species. Sanji tells him to shut up and attacks him with Poitrine Shoot, which Arlong easily evades and then attacks Sanji again with water, knocking him down. Sanji coughs up blood and thinks that fighting is only a game for the fish-man, and that water splashes feel like a shotgun blast. Sanji realizes that Arlong is on a whole other level. Arlong mocks Sanji again, saying that he should just die, and that he's life is worth nothing.
Then, Nami appears, to everyone's surprise. Arlong tells her that he was about to kill the pirates, and asks her why did she come. Nami answers that she came in order to kill him. Arlong begins to laugh at this, commenting on the numerous times that she tried to kill him in the past 8 years: by assassination, poisoning, or surprise attacks. He then tells her that she should know that it's impossible for humans to kill him. Arlong follows, saying that he's not going to kill her or let her escape, and that she will be her cartographer forever.
The fish-man continues by commenting that he is an understanding guy, and that he doesn't want to chain a young woman if possible, so it would be better for him if Nami joined him out of her own will. He then makes Nami an offer: even though he's planning to kill everyone present, if Nami joins Arlong as his cartographer, he will spare the Cocoyasi Village citizens' lives, but he won't spare Sanji and Zoro because they made him angry. Arlong asks Nami if she chooses to side with him and spare the villagers, or if she sides with the pirates and attempt to fight him. He then comments that because their strongest fighters have been incapacitated, losing is inevitable. Arlong asks Nami again if she sides with him or with the pirates. Nami begins to think about what to choose, thinking that a single word from her can decide everyone's lives. She then remembers Luffy's words that he will save her. While the villagers get angry that Arlong is anyway forcing Nami to join him, Nami thinks that she can't doubt her friends' words. She then apologizes to all the villagers, and asks them if they would die with her. All the villagers scream in approval.
Then Luffy woke up, shooting a jet of water out of his mouth. Sanji comments that the plan worked and that all they need to do is free Luffy's legs. Zoro realizes what the plan was. Johnny and Yosaku realize that Luffy is back. Genzo asks Luffy if he is awake. Zoro and Sanji get up and the swordsman tells the cook that he has 30 seconds, because he won't last more than that. Sanji then jumps into the water saying that that's more time than he needs. Arlong also realizes that Luffy is back. Zoro tells Arlong that he shouldn't pay attention to that, and calls him a half-fish mutant. The fish-man threatens Zoro, saying that he told him not to call him that again. Sanji is close to reaching Luffy.
Suddenly, Usopp appears and shoots Arlong with Tamago Boshi. Usopp starts shouting that he will back Zoro. Johnny and Yosaku start wondering where the sniper is, commenting that he is brave. Usopp tells Zoro to fight without any worries, as everyone realizes that he was hiding in the hole in the wall made by Sanji earlier when he was hit by Kuroobi. Usopp happily tells Nami that he defeated one of the officers of the Arlong Pirates by himself. Genzo asks Luffy if he pulls himself out on his own, but Luffy answers that he can't feel any strength in his body. As Sanji almost reaches Luffy's body, he says to himself that he is counting on Luffy, their only hope. However, Hatchan starts to get up saying that he won't let them do as they please.
Mission 69
At SSS Headquarters, the Boss receives a report concerning the remnants of the extremist Red Circus group. There are unconfirmed reports that their leader, Billy Squire, is commanding a faction in Berlint.
Elsewhere, the students of Cecile Hall are on a school bus, heading to the Berlint Museum for a "cultural experience." As all the first-years are going, they are in four buses, with a car at the front and back of the caravan escorting them. While Anya and the other kids are excited about this, Damian is rather apathetic.
Students from Wald Hall are also on the bus, including Bill, who tells Damian there is value in all new experiences and that this is a new opportunity to make new friends. Damian refuses, stating that other classes all rivals, so Bill challenges him to see which class can correctly name more dinosaurs in the museum.
While they argue, Anya thinks about copying Loid's tricks to get closer to Damian, thinking about how Loid recently managed to improve his relationship with Gerald Gorey. She imagines her and Damian in a scenario similar as Loid, although done childishly. Carrying out her plan, Anya throws a crumpled piece of paper at Damian's head and gives him a "Call-Me-An-Uggo" face. However, an annoyed Damian responds by throwing it back at her face.
Damian wonders if Anya is still mad that he did not repay her for the handkerchief yet and thinks about giving her the treats he bought for her. As he takes it out of his backpack, Ewen and Emile quickly spot it and ask for some. Too embarrassed to admit what they are for, Damian lets them eat the snacks. Sitting beside him, George holds out his hand to also recieve some snacks, but only gets Damian's anger. George complains that he shared his macarons with them back then, but Damian retorts that he did not get any. Becky asks if Anya brought any snacks, and she reveals two bags of peanuts, along with a piece of Bond's kibble. She then offers the kibble to Damian for free, and an irritated Damian threatens to throw her off the bus. Watching from the exchange, the Wald Hall kids think about how noisy the Cecile Hall kids are.
All the buses reach the museum, but two buses, including Anya's, drives past it, confusing the dorm tutor. At the end of the caravan, Mr. Green is told that the second and third buses have broken away. Anya's bus makes a stop, and Billy Squire and a woman board inside. Before the dorm tutor can tell them to leave, he gets tasered by Billy and is left unconscious, scaring the kids. The bus continues to move while Billy has the tutor tied up and radios in the other bus, asking for a status report.
After Billy confirms with Bruce that the other bus was hijacked without any problems, he is informed by the driver that a car is behind them, driven by Mr. Green. Billy tells the driver to let them get close, then walks to the rear exit of the bus. He opens the door and shoots at the pursuers with a shotgun rifle, hitting a front tire and causing Mr. Green to crash into a tree. One of the students screams out in fear, but Billy points his gun at her to shut her up. Billy then greets the students and introduces himself and his group as the Red Circus. He tells them to do what they say if they want to live, and the children watch in shock and fear.
Horus
Heavy lies the head that wears the crown. If such an adage holds true, then surely the heads that seek to wear it must as well. Born of Osiris, and destined to ascend to the throne of the Egyptian Pantheon as its divine ruler, Horus is an entity of great power, whose formidable strength is mirrored by his innate desire for balance and justice.
And yet, these grand attributes are not what has come to define Horus amongst the divine beings who walk the earth. Rather, it is strife, division and conflict that cling to him like a shadow. A shadow that has taken the form of his uncle, Set.
Set stands in opposition to Horus' ascension to rule, challenging so that he might be the one to take the throne and hold the destiny of their pantheon, lands and mortal worshippers in the palm of his hand. Thus has begun a path of chaos and destruction that has claimed countless lives, including that of venerable Osiris himself. Reeling from the cold-blooded murder of his father by his own uncle, Horus swore an oath to all creation, on pain of his own death, to set right the horrific deeds that had been perpetrated, and restore order, peace and justice to the land.
For Horus, this conflict will see his kingdom restored to its full former glory, first among equals of all the Pantheons in creation, or should he fail, see all he knows and loves cast into darkness, corruption and ruin. He has become inextricably linked with Set, a shining reflection of his uncle's brooding darkness. Horus knows in his heart that Set will stop at nothing to achieve his aims, and so he must do the same. For the fate of all, he must prevail, no matter the cost.
Master Assassin
Mastering his skills as a bowman and an assassin, Hanzo Shimada strives to prove himself as a warrior without peer.
The Shimada family was established centuries ago, a clan of assassins whose power grew over the years, enabling them to build a vast criminal empire that profited from lucrative trade in arms and illegal substances. As the eldest son of the family's head, Hanzo was bound by duty to succeed his father and rule the Shimada empire. From a young age, he was trained for that responsibility, displaying a natural aptitude for leadership and possessing an innate understanding of strategy and tactics. He also excelled in more practical areas: he was a prodigy in martial arts, swordplay, and bowmanship.
Upon the death of his father just like his mother, the clan elders instructed Hanzo to straighten out his wayward younger brother so that he, too, might help rule the Shimada empire. When his brother refused, Hanzo was forced to kill him. This act broke Hanzo's heart and drove him to reject his father's legacy, ultimately leading him to abandon the clan and all that he had worked so hard to attain.
Now, Hanzo travels the world, perfecting his skills as a warrior, attempting to restore his honor and put the ghosts of his past to rest.
Life of Crime
The episode starts at the Krusty Krab, where SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs are watching a classic black-and-white crime movie. Mr. Krabs speaks out against thieves like the one depicted in the movie, but SpongeBob and Patrick remind him of all the stuff he has that is not his: a barrel from Salty Sea Farms, a towel from the Sizzling Spring Sauna, a Bikini Bell phone, Sandy's hedge clippers, Plankton's lawnmower, and Mrs. Puff's hair curlers. Mr. Krabs claims that he "borrowed" all those things, telling them that it is okay to borrow something as long as they give it back before it is missed.
Later that day, SpongeBob and Patrick spot a balloon stand. Since they do not have any money, they decide to follow Mr. Krabs' advice and "borrow" a balloon. They sneak away with it, and as they talk about all the fun things they plan to do with it, it suddenly pops. Realizing that they can no longer return the balloon, they concede to each other that they have stolen it. When they panic and bump into the owner of the balloon stand, they run away before he reveals that it is National Free Balloon Day. They decide to leave Bikini Bottom under the belief that they are wanted criminals, not realizing that they never committed any crime.
That night, they camp in the middle of nowhere and lament that they will never see any of their friends or do any of the fun things they used to do again, causing Patrick and SpongeBob to be sad and miss their old lives. However, they then begin to look at the positives, such as not having to live by society's standards and not having to return anything they borrow, and so convince themselves that their lives as fugitives can be enjoyable. Patrick sadly remarks that they still have nothing to eat, until SpongeBob unveils two chocolate bars, which he hopes they can survive on for the rest of their lives. However, Patrick eats his entire bar in two quick bites, immediately forgets he ate it, and upon trying to take a third bite of it, discovers that it is gone.
Upon seeing SpongeBob's unopened candy bar, Patrick accuses him of stealing it. Although SpongeBob tries to remind Patrick that he already ate his and never ate his own, he refuses to believe him. SpongeBob offers half of his chocolate to him, but Patrick says he does not want it unless SpongeBob admits that he took it. Frustrated at Patrick's behavior, SpongeBob eats the whole thing himself. In his own frustration, Patrick decides to report SpongeBob to the police. SpongeBob aims to tell on Patrick first and they race to the police station.
Once there, they both confess their original "crime" together, and two officers at the station realize that SpongeBob and Patrick are under a serious misunderstanding, and place them in a jail cell. However, the two "criminals" are immediately released, being informed that they "stole" the balloon on National Free Balloon Day, much to the officers' amusement. SpongeBob and Patrick, though shocked to learn of their innocence, vow that they will never borrow anything without permission again and the officers give them lollipops for the trip back home. Once again, Patrick eats his immediately and accuses SpongeBob and the officers of stealing it. They all laugh together until Patrick says he means it, as the episode ends with a shot of Bikini Atoll being seen.
