Chapter 146

Wapol and his two lieutenants try to take back their castle but Chopper has decided that no one will enter what had become Hiriluk's grave.


Battle to Defend the Kingdom

Surprised that Luffy dares to attack the King of Drum, Chess and Kuromarimo help their chief recover from the punch he just took. Sanji helps Luffy to realize to identify their opponents asks him how he is not cold in his shorts and vest. After a pause, Luffy suddenly realizes both of his mistakes and the crew is shocked at Luffy's slow response time. Luffy runs back into the castle and searches for a jacket in Nami's room.

Wapol is infuriated by the disrespectful behavior of his former subjects. Dr. Kureha and Chopper refuse to let him enter, claiming it has become Dr. Hiriluk grave and that no one will be allowed to take out the quack doctor's flag. To protect his master's place, Chopper transforms into his human form. The trio then realize that he is the monster who attacked them in the past.

Kuromarimo starts to attack Dr. Kureha with an electrostatic ball made of his own hair. Sanji is able to stop the Eleki-Marimo balls by kicking them but finds them stuck to his body suddenly and is unable to kick them off. Sanji asks Chopper for help but suddenly becomes the target for Chess' fire arrows. Chopper takes opportunity of them targeting Sanji by trying to punch Chess. Unfortunately, he is stopped by Wapol who starts to eat the reindeer.

Luckily, Luffy has come back, wearing Nami's jacket. Thanks to Sanji's powerful kick, Luffy grabs a hold of his leg and is launched at Wapol, landing a punch to Wapol's stomach and causes him to spit out Chopper.


Act 2

Over the commercial break, Patchy and Potty continue to fight, now keeping score between the future and the past. Patchy then brings in a real live caveman, but Potty brings in a futuristic robot who begins repeatedly shooting the caveman with lasers.

At the end of the day, SpongeGar, Patar, and Squog are full from eating and say goodnight to each other as they head over to their homes. Suddenly, SpongeGar, Patar, and Squog stop walking and they turn around, realizing that the fire is still out there. The three of them start fighting over who will keep the fire. They continue fighting until it starts raining again and puts the fire out. SpongeGar and Patar apologize to each other for fighting, but Squog blames them for putting it out and attempts to hit them over the head. Before he can do so, however, lightning strikes him and SpongeGar and Patar cook marshmallows over his charred body.

After the episode ends, Patchy is shown sitting outside his cave, apparently having lost to Potty. However, Potty comes outside and invites him back in, where Cavey the Caveman and the Robot Android Cyborg DX-294888 do a rap called "When Worlds Collide."

Patchy starts to have a change of heart about "loving" the future. The song montage features scenes from SpongeBob B.C. and "SB-129." The episode ends with Potty giving Patchy a "gift from the prehistoric times," that being a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which begins chasing him. Patchy says goodbye to the viewers, finishing the episode while being tickled by the Tyrannosaurus Rex as Potty is eating popcorn.

Chapter 21

After defeating the Buggy Pirates, Luffy, Zoro and Nami are about to depart with Buggy's treasure, but the villagers arrive and ask about the pirates. Seeing that their mayor has been knocked out, they ask who did it, and Luffy admits it was him. While they are being chased out of the village, Chouchou helps them escape by holding back the villagers. The mayor soon wakes up, and after asking about Luffy and the others, runs after them to thank them as they sail away. The War of the Shifting Sands Townies Luffy, having beaten Buggy, begins to leave the city with Zoro and Nami. Nami splits the loot into two bags: one for Luffy and one for herself. When the villagers arrive, they find Boodle unconscious, and Luffy admits that he knocked him out. The villages then ask if they are pirates, and Luffy cheerfully says he is, angering them and causing them to give chase. While the crew is running away, Luffy says that it must be a very good town, because they were prepared to fight pirates

Chapter 24

The Usopp Pirates (without Usopp) approach the restaurant Tamanegi saw Usopp enter with the pirates, and confront Luffy, Zoro, and Nami over the fate of their captain. Learning that Usopp had gone to "that place", the Usopp Pirates tell Luffy and the others about Usopp's trips to Kaya's mansion to tell her stories, in an attempt to help brighten her spirits. However her butler, Klahadore, disapproves of Usopp's interactions with Kaya, believing Usopp to be a bad influence for having the blood of a pirate. Luffy's group and the Usopp Pirates arrive just in time to see Klahadore insult Usopp down, before he strikes Klahadore and declares his pride at being the son of a pirate. Lord of His Pack Things that can't be faked Piiman, Ninjin, and Tamanegi sneak across town to the restaurant where Zoro, Nami and Luffy are eating.
